Why I Do...A Photographer's Career

I’ve been a professional photographer now for over 45 years.  Friends, family, and sometimes even new clients ask about my lengthly career.

Don’t you get bored?  No, I’m never bored…I love the excitement of shooting different photgraphic genres and gaining experience and expertise as styles and technologies evolve.

When are you going to retire? Maybe never…there are so many new stories waiting to be told.

Don’t you ever want to do something different?  I do something different, and challenging, and stimulating every day.  As a professional photographer, I have access to the people and the worlds around us that very few careers can offer. 

What keeps you photographing after all these years?  I’m a visual storyteller plain and simple.  These few images, all recent work, answer that question better than any words.
